Jisc and the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) have released new guidance to help universities and colleges assess and manage the environmental costs of AI adoption. Launched at the 2026 EAUC annual conference, the resource positions AI's energy and carbon footprint as a governance concern for higher education institutions.
