National Institutes of Health (NIH)
AI-generated text not permitted in specific aims, research strategy, or other critical sections of grant applications. AI tools may be used for editing with disclosure.
National Science Foundation (NSF)
Proposals must represent the intellectual work of the applicant. AI assistance must be disclosed. Reviewers prohibited from using AI to evaluate proposals.
Wellcome Trust
Researchers may use AI tools for writing assistance but must declare use. AI-generated content in grant applications must be clearly identified.
European Research Council (ERC)
